According to the findings, the following three issues must be overcome by the food transportation industry:

  • Management of labour and talent (49%)
  • Issues with transportation capacity (39%)
  • Disruptions to supply and demand planning (35%)

According to the survey's findings, enterprise organisations with revenues of $500 million or more were more likely to struggle with supply and demand planning, product availability, and storage issues. Smaller food and beverage shippers with annual sales of under $500 million also had similar issues as their top worries, although they were more likely than their bigger counterparts to point to store operations and transportation costs as the main problems.
