The country produces 11 million tons of spices annually. India exports spices to China, Bangladesh, USA, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Malaysia. Bolstered by rising demand, the trade maintained its export target of $4.5 billion in FY2023 from $4.13 billion in FY2022, up 9% year-on-year.
