As Covid-19-related restrictions in China intensify, certain consumer electronics and durables firms in India are raising their inventory stock levels out of concern for possible supply chain disruptions.

Chinese manufacturers of consumer goods and electronics import a sizable share of their raw materials and components. For example, more than 60% of air conditioner parts and over 25% of refrigerator parts are imported, as are approximately 70% of television parts.
