A pre-Series B funding round led by current investor IvyCap Ventures has secured Rs 40 crore ($4.8 million) for domestic aggregator Celcius Logistics, which offers end-to-end cold-chain solutions.

According to a statement, Caret Capital and Mumbai Angels were among the other investors in the round.

For all cold-chain needs, Celcius Logistics serves as a link between shippers and transporters, assisting with last-mile and hyperlocal delivery for all parties involved.

Prior to this, in April 2023, the company raised Rs 100 crore ($12 million) in a Series A fundraising round headed by IvyCap Ventures. With the new funding, it hopes to increase the reach of its Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS).

According to the announcement, the firm with its headquarters in Mumbai wants to help producers sell perishable goods by reaching out to over 500 locations in the next year. At the moment, it operates 4,000 cars, 107 cold storage facilities, 27 distribution centers, and 200 hyperlocal users nationwide.

We make it possible for producers and shipping firms, especially in the food and pharmaceutical sectors, to guarantee the timely delivery of perishable goods. Founder and CEO Swarup Bose stated, "With the additional funding, we hope to further establish our presence and close the gap between supply and demand in the cold supply chain."

More than four lakh tons of perishable cargo, including fresh agricultural products, dairy, pharmaceuticals, fruits, and seafood, have been delivered using the platform. Among its clientele are Zomato, Spicejet, Reliance Pharma, Maersk, Domino's, Vadilal, Baskin Robbins, Prabhat Dairy, Keventers, and Godrej Agrovet
