After a previous effort failed owing to the presence of a single bidder, the National Highways Logistics Management Ltd, a division of the National Highways Authority of India, has launched a new tender to construct a multimodal logistics park in Bengaluru with private funding.

For the 400-acre multimodal logistics park that would be built in Muddalinganahalli in the Bengaluru Rural area, Reliance Industries Ltd. and Prakash Asphaltings and Toll Highways Ltd. submitted applications. The bid for Prakash Asphaltings and Toll Highways was rejected.
