Accenture to Acquire Camelot Management Consultants to Expand SAP and Supply Chain Capabilities

Accenture will purchase Camelot Management Consultants in order to increase its supply chain and SAP capabilities - Supply Chain Tribe by Celerity

Accenture has consented to buy Camelot Management Consultants, a global management and technology consulting business from Germany that specializes in SAP® and has particular expertise in supply chain, data, and analytics.

The acquisition of Camelot Management Consultants, a global management and technology consulting firm from Germany with a focus on SAP® and particular competencies in supply chain, data, and analytics, has been agreed to by Accenture (NYSE: ACN). Accenture's SAP and AI-driven supply chain capabilities will be further enhanced by the purchase, assisting clients in creating the intelligent and resilient supply networks that the modern business environment demands.

Accenture will be better equipped to spearhead the complete supply chain reinvention of its clients because to the company's extensive supply chain management experience. Additionally, Camelot will contribute expertise in modernization, analytics, and data strategy, assisting businesses in laying a solid platform for quicker AI implementation. Only 9% of businesses employ generative AI and artificial intelligence extensively throughout their supply chains, according to research from Accenture, and the use of these technologies is associated with increased profitability.

The need for businesses to improve the efficiency of their logistics and the current spike in market volatility are the main drivers of the demand for data and analytics services in supply chain management, according to Tobias Regenfuss, Accenture's technology director for Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. "We will further strengthen our capabilities and services to help our clients use technology to address complex and urgent business needs and drive additional value with our acquisition of Camelot."

"Many organizations struggle to navigate global disruptions, comply with evolving regulations, meet rising customer expectations, and keep pace with technological developments," said Christina Raab, market unit lead for Accenture in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It takes tremendous flexibility and a rethinking of established methods to drive value faster. With Camelot's extensive knowledge of supply chains, we will be even more qualified to support businesses in thriving in the face of change so they can expand and remain relevant.

Camelot was established in 1996 and is a top SAP partner in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It serves a wide range of big and midsize businesses in the consumer products, industrial manufacturing, chemicals, and life sciences sectors. Camelot is a German company with offices in Mannheim, as well as the United States, the United Arab Emirates, India, Poland, Spain, and Switzerland. With this acquisition, Accenture will get access to over 700 highly skilled workers, including supply chain, data, and SAP specialists.

Managing Partner of Camelot Libor Kotlik stated, "We have been offering management and technology consulting services for almost three decades and have grown into a leading SAP partner with clients in a wide range of industries." "With Accenture's extensive worldwide reach and service offering, we can provide clients with cutting-edge concepts and solutions while also generating stimulating growth prospects for our workforce. We will work together to satisfy the primary market demand and provide enduring value for our clients.

For the second year in a row, Camelot has been recognized as a SAP Digital Supply Chain Focus Partner under the diamond project. Leading analysts have acknowledged the company, and it has received multiple accolades, including Germany's Best Consultants 2024.

The transaction's terms were kept a secret. Acquisition completion is contingent upon usual closing conditions, such as obtaining regulatory approvals.
